My name is Amanda Walden and I am a junior at WKU from Bowling Green, KY. We have finally gotten in the swing of things handling classes and softball. We have officially begun practicing as a team and our first game is quickly approaching. We have been putting in many hours in the weight room and conditioning in order to get stronger and tougher for this fall. Our team has a lot of new comers this year so everyone is learning the basics and the team is starting to gel well together. Everyone is giving a 110% in practice because we are all looking forward to having a great season this year!
School work is starting to pick up too as we get farther and farther into the semester. Of course studies come first, but we are all very excited to begin playing games to see where we are at as a team and to see what we need to work on in order to be the best we can in the spring. Come out and support us this Sunday (Oct. 3) as we take on UL, Campbellsville, and Lindsey Wilson. We love when our fans come and cheer us on!
