BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The WKU softball team will be hosting two summer camps this month beginning with the summer day camp. Head coach Tyra Perry, assistant coaches Auriel Jenkins and Bonnie Bynum and the WKU softball team will assist with all camps.
The summer day camp is for girls aged 8-high school seniors. The camp, held June 14-16, will be held at the WKU Softball Complex and will focus on the fundamentals of hitting, baserunning, defensive position play and throwing. The camp will last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and will cost $150.
The summer elite camp is a camp for girls aged 13-high school seniors. The camp will be held on June 21-23 and will also cost $150. The camp will focus on the same fundamentals as the summer day camp and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
