Hey Western Fans!
My name is Rachelle Boucher and I am from the Tampa Bay area. This is my 4th and final year on the softball team here at Western. I am definitely going to miss playing ball and being part of something great, however, I am looking forward to the future and what is to come. Unfortunately, I got hurt early in the season, but I am now officially released and am back playing with my teammates. Last Friday we took a sleeper bus down to Louisiana. It is a nice change from the usual charter bus, because there is a lot more room for everyone to lie down comfortably and watch movies during the ten hour drive. This past weekend we had a rough series against Louisiana Monroe. Things didn’t seem to fall our way, but we still played well as a team and stuck together. Although the season is winding down, we still have some very important games coming up. We are all looking forward to flying to Texas this weekend to play North Texas in our next conference series.
