BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The WKU Lady Topper softball team showed their support this Veterans Day as a team in a 5K run around campus.
The entire Lady Topper softball team showed their support and appreciation to Veterans November 11, as they participated in the 5K Unit Run with the Hilltopper Battalion, celebrating Veterans' Day. The Lady Toppers ran together as a team and enjoyed a great team building experience while honoring the community and nation.

"I was highly impressed and pleased that the Toppers women's softball team as a whole participated in the 1st Annual Veterans Day Run", stated Scott Hutcheson, Contractor and Senior Military Science Instructor at WKU. "They were a great inspiration and motivation for the ROTC Cadets, showing their loyalty and leadership in support of the community and Nation."
The Lady Topper softball team participates in numerous community service activities throughout the year, giving back to the community that supports them.
