I am Megan Johnson, a freshman from Gilbert, AZ. We just finished our fall season this past weekend. We finished strong with two wins against Volunteer State and Eastern Kentucky University. Thank you to the Topper fans who came out to support us!! We have learned a lot this fall. I believe the most important lesson we have learned is to "keep the foot on the accelerator". This is our new team quote because we want to keep getting better individually and as a team. We also learned how we play as a team. I love the atmosphere that we create when we play ball! We do our best when we are loose and just having a lot of fun!
We have one more week of team practice to go and I know we will all do our best to really finish out this fall season great! Ultimately, our goal is to get better with each week that passes. With what I have seen this fall I have no doubt in my mind that we will be the first WKU Softball team to win a Conference Championship!
