Bowling Green, Ky. — Western Kentucky University invites athletes aged 10-12 to participate in the 2009 Fall League hosted by the WKU softball team. The league, which begins on August 17, will run six days and will conclude on August 27.
The league will consist of four teams with a maximum of 40 participants. Each team will play on the field and will be instructed during offensive and defensive skill stations each day. The WKU softball team concluded the 2009 season with a 35-19 overall record and was led by the Sun Belt Conference Co-Coach of the Year, Tyra Perry.
