Hey Hilltopper Fans!
My name is Mallorie Sulaski and I am a lefty pitcher from Lakewood, Colorado. Yes, WKU is quite a distance away from Colorado and I do miss my family and friends back home, but I love it here at Western! Coming in with seven other freshman has made the transition very easy. Everyone on the team gets along very well and it has been a fun first couple of months together! The upperclassmen have been very helpful and made it very easy for us to adjust. Unfortunately, a few days before school started I got Mono, which made my transition a little harder than expected. Slowly but surely, I have been recovering and look forward to being healthy in time for our season. We just finished with a great fall season! Despite rain cancellations, we were able to get seven games in this fall, and we came out with a perfect record! This fall we have put in a lot of time working on fundamentals and building team chemistry. Everything is falling into place and I am excited to see what we are capable of. I cannot wait to get back next year and start our season! I have high hopes for this team and I think we have the ability to go all the way! Now that fall is over, we have individual practices which gives us time to focus on specific skills we need to improve. It has been a nice change of pace to catch up with school and sleep. We will continue individuals until we get back from Christmas break and start our journey to the top! Thank you for all your support! It means so much to us! See you in the spring! GO TOPS!!
