BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - On October 18, the WKU softball team had the opportunity to face off against some of the greatest WKU softball players in school history during the Alumni game event. "Bringing the alumni back is one of the things we look forward to each year," assistant coach Auriel Jenkins said. "Their continued support has and will always be very appreciated to the WKU softball program. For this event, we were able to unite some of WKU's greatest alumni players with our current team and everyone had a really good time. It was also a great learning experience for this year's team and we are glad that we were able to host this event for everyone."
The alumni team included Laura King, Alana Towns, Sam Cronk, Rebecca Horesky, Ryan Rogge, Shanon Searle, Angie Head, Shelby Smith, Brandy Hawkins and Terri Ellingsworth.
