Cape Cod League
Both J.B. Paxson and Terrence Dayleg are playing on the Cape with the 3-6 Harwich Mariners. In five games, Paxson is hitting .286 with a double, a home run and a pair of RBI. Dayleg has also collected three hits in five games, scoring a pair of runs.
New York Collegiate Baseball League
Three Hilltoppers — Wade Gaynor, Jake Wells and Garrie Krueger — are all with the Elmira Pioneers. The Pioneers stand at 9-6 on the year and are in third place in the NYCBL West Division. Gaynor ranks fourth in the league in hitting a .419, collecting 26 hits in 15 games and has collected five doubles, one triple and nine RBI. He ranks fourth in the league in batting average, and is the league leader in hits after a 3-for-5 effort on Sunday. Wells has started 11 games, hitting .225 with a double and three RBI. Krueger has made seven appearances out of the Pioneer bullpen, recording seven strikeouts and a 4.35 ERA in 10.1 innings of work.
Coastal Plains League
Matt Payton is hitting .319 (third best on the team) in 18 games for the Peninsula Pilots, collecting three doubles and stealing six bases.
M.I.N.K (Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas) League
Chad Adcock is pitching in relief for the Chillicothe Mudcats, which currently ranks second in the league and is 8-9 overall on the season.
