Bowling Green, Ky. - The deadline for the 2003 Western Kentucky University softball camp has been extended to June 27th. The camp, which runs from July 7-9, will provide a fun and enthusiastic atmosphere where campers can improve their softball skills. Particular attention will be paid to hitting, bunting, base running, throwing and fielding, with campers placed in groups according to age and ability whenever possible. A brief amount of additional time will also be spent on individual position play.
Campers will receive instruction from WKU head coach Leslie Phelan, assistant coaches Shanon Searle and Pete Phelan, as well as current and former members of the Hilltopper softball team.
