As a Senior (2022): Played in 29 matches and a total of 61 sets, including one start at Middle Tennessee (9/24/22)…Picked up a career-high seven kills at Bowling Green (9/2/22)... Recorded 65 kills, 20 blocks, and 15 digs on the year...Performed a season-high .750 hitting clip with six kills off of eight swings against Bowling Green in the first round of NCAAs (12/1/22).
As a Junior (2021): Played in eight matches and a total of nine sets…Tallied seven kills on the year for a hitting percentage of .222…Season high of three kills on five swings at Florida Atlantic (10/22/21).
As a Sophomore (2020-21): Appeared in eight sets across five matches in her sophomore season…Tallied three kills and 12 attacks… Tallied kills against Evansville (1/31), Florida Atlantic (2/7) and FIU (3/8).
As a Freshman (2019): Appeared in nine sets across six matches in her debut season…Tallied one kill and 11 attacks…Added an assist as well…Her kill came in WKU’s win over Tennessee Tech (9/7)...Took a season-best 5 swings in WKU’s home-opening win over Eastern Kentucky.
High School: Collected four varsity letters and served as captain for two years at Granville High School...Helped her team make it to the regional finals in 2017 and was awarded Most Improved Player on her varsity squad three years straight...Received First-Team All-LCL recognition and earned Second-Team All-District status from 2017-18...During her final season with the Blue Aces, Rush was tabbed an All-State honorable mention performer while earning the Team MVP honor.
Personal: Born July 19, 2000...Daughter of Gerald and Angela Rush and has three older siblings, Andrew, Alex, and Austin...Brother Austin played basketball at Capital University in Ohio...Majoring in elementary education.
