Appeared in 11 of WKU's 12 tournaments and was included in the lineup on 10 of those occasions... Finished 11th to start the season at the Drake Creek Invitational with a score of 226... Carded a 72 in her season-best round at the Memphis Intercollegiate.
2015-16 (Sophomore)
Named C-USA's Co-Most Improved Golfer for the 2015-16 season, WKU's first individual postseason award since joining the conference... Shaved nearly two strokes off her average from her freshman season, averaging 77.52 shots per round... Captured C-USA Golfer of the Week honors on March 23 after leading WKU to the team championship at the Morehead State Citrus Challenge... Fired a career-low 18-hole round of 70 in the first round of that event... Competed in all 11 events for the Lady Toppers and featured on the team's card in 10 of those tournaments... Earned her best finish of the season at the Bluegrass Kickoff competing as an individual, finishing tied for seventh... Tallied her career-low 54-hole score of 221 at the Morehead State Citrus Challenge.
2014-15 (Freshman)
Led the Lady Topper card in her first collegiate event at the Murray State Invitational, finishing tied for sixth with a nine-over 225... Competed on the card in six of WKU's 12 events and once as an individual... Finished tied for seventh at the Great Smokies Intercollegiate, tallying a one-over 145... Carded her low round of the season, a one-under 71, in the second round at the Great Smokies Intercollegiate... Her one-over 145 (74-71) at the Great Smokies Intercollegiate was also her lowest 36-hole total of the season... Recorded a nine-over 225 (73-75-77) for her lowest 54-round score of the year at the Murray State Invitational... Had a 79.28 stroke average across 18 rounds of action.
High School:
Alexander prepped at Glasgow High School under the direction of Lady Scottie golf coach Kellie Lee. A four-time participant in the KHSAA state tournaments, Alexander took the individual crown in the 2013 Class `A' State tournament and helped her team take the overall squad title in 2010 and 2013. Additionally, she was named the Kentucky Region 4 Golfer of the Year and was ranked No. 10 in the KHSAA All-State Point system while also earning All-State honors. Alexander was a two-time District medalist in 2010 and 2013 and finished tied for second in the 2013 regional event. She has turned in nine top-10 finishes this season out of 11 high school tournaments. The two-spot star has also started for the Lady Scotties on the hardwood for the past three years and is a six-year member of the varsity team at GHS which won the Region 4 championship in 2012.
