Prior to WKU: Beerheide graduated from Buffalo Grove High School and is a native of Arlington Heights, Illinois...She qualified for the Illinois state tournament four times and was a 3-time All-State member after finishing third, fourth, and seventh...Beerheide won 17 invitationals during her high school career and had a 70.9 career stroke average...She held a 10th place ranking in the state according to Junior Golf Scoreboard...She was the IJGA Chick Evans Junior Amateur Low Medalist and was a USGA Women's Amateur Four-Ball Qualifier where she made the cut to 32 teams...She was the champion of the Mid-American Junior Golf Tour at Golf Club of Illinois.
