As a Junior (2026): Appeared in 32 games and started 15... Finished the season with a 3.57 ERA and a 10-7 record... Threw WKU’s 14th no-hitter in program history on March 21 against MTSU and Smith’s no-hitter was the second in 20 days... Threw seven complete games and was responsible for one complete game shutout... Was part of five total shutouts... Finished the season with four saves... In 106.0 innings pitched, she allowed 75 hits, 54 earned runs, and struck out 127... Recorded a season-high 11 strikeouts on March 21 against MTSU... Led the conference in opposing batting average at .190, was second in strikeouts, and second in saves... Helped WKU to a regular top 25 national ranking in team ERA...
As a Sophomore (2025): Appeared in 39 games and started 26... Finished the season with a 3.14 ERA and a 15-7 record... Threw a total of seven complete games and was responsible for one complete game shutout... Was part of three shutouts on the year... Threw a team-high 140.2 innings and allowed 115 hits, 63 earned runs, and struck out 129... Posted a .223 opposing batting average... Finished the season ranked fourth in total strikeouts and second in strikeouts looking with 44... Named CUSA Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 17...
As a Freshman (2024): 2024 All-Conference USA Freshman Team...One-time 2024 Freshman of the week (5/6/2024)...appeared in 35 games, with 18 starts...pitched a total of 115.1 innings...Smith faced 447 batters and gave up 113 hits throughout the season... Finished with a 12-7 record...had her first recorded win and starts against Army in the Clearwater Florida Invitational (2/10/24)...Smith ended the season with a 3.64 ERA...she had 107 total strikeouts throughout the season with a season high 9 strikeouts against Louisiana Tech (3/23/24)...she ended the season with a .235 batting average against.
High School: Played prep ball at Nolensville High School... won the 4A District 12 title for Nolensville and was named All-Tournament MVP... named Nolensville Softball MVP for 2021 and 2022... named Tennessean All-Midstate Large Class First team, Main Street Preps All-Midstate First Team, 2022 Williamson County Softball Player of the Year, a softball finalist for the Middle Tennessee High School Sports Awards, and First Team All-District in 2021... totaled 603 strikeouts between her sophomore and junior seasons, earning 377 K's in 2022 alone -- which was ranked #1 in Tennessee.
