Appeared in two tournaments for the Hilltoppers in his senior season… Shot his season-low round of 78 at the WKU-hosted Kenny Perry Invitational… Named WKU’s Male Scholar Athlete of the Year with a 3.92 GPA in mechanical engineering.
2015-16 (Junior)
Did not compete during the 2015-16 season.
2013-14 (Freshman)
Frizzell played in three events as a true freshman and had a pair of top-75 finishes on the year. His best result was a tie for 52nd at the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular. At the Marshall Invitational, Frizzell had his best three-round score of the year and low round of the year, shooting a 17-over 230 (74-75-81) to finish tied for 74th.
High School:
Played for coach Brent Harris at Nacogdoches High School ... Was a multi-year medalist in Texas' District 14-4A and graduated with a 4.0 GPA ... Finished second at the Texas 4A State Golf Championships with a two-under 138 (70, 68) in the two round tournament ... Played in five tournaments on the AJGA tour, posting three finishes in the top 16, including an 11th place finish in the 2012 Aaron's Bob Estes Abilene Junior Tournament after shooting three rounds of 73 ... Also posted two scores under 70 in his final appearances on the circuit at the 2012 Goodman Networks Junior at Timarron in August.
