2017 (Junior):Â Kraft started 28 games in the outfield and 34 overall after making the switch from second base going into the season, appearing in 42 total games for the Hilltoppers ... Ranked fourth on the club with 10 multi-hit games, including a pair of 3-hit performances ... Slashed .290/.372/.421 in 27 starts through the month of March, leading WKU with 8 doubles, 11 walks and 5 stolen bases in that time ... Had the first multi-homerun game of his career March 8 at Eastern Kentucky, going 3-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 4 driven in, while also walking twice; the runs scored and batted in tied career highs, while 9 total bases set a new personal best ... Went 2-for-4 in WKU's 8-5 victory at Murray State on April 18 with a career-high 2 steals.
2016 (Sophomore): Kraft enjoyed a breakout season for WKU in 2016 as he finished with a .319/.409/.476 slash line on 67 hits, 9 doubles, 3 triples and a team-high 6 homeruns ... Led the team in runs (44) and walks (29), spending most of the campaign as WKU’s leadoff hitter ... Reached base in 24-straight games before the Louisville home game and reached base in 49-of-52 games he played in and 57-of-60 games he started in his first 2 seasons ... Reached a 17-game hit streak that was ended in the second game of the weekend at Southern Miss ... After moving to the cleanup spot against UTSA, he responded with 7 hits, 7 runs batted in, 3 runs, a double and a triple to be named Conference USA Hitter of the Week ... Had a 3-hit and a 4-hit game against the Roadrunners, slashing .615/.667/.923 for the weekend ... His other 4-hit performance came in the win at Tennessee, where Kraft went 4-for-6 with 2 runs, 2 doubles and 2 runs batted in ... He finished with 19 multi-hit games and a team-best 10 multiple-RBI contests ... With a 3.64 GPA in interdisciplinary studies, he earned a spot on the Conference USA Baseball All-Academic Team with teammate Kaleb Duckworth.
2015 (Freshman): Kraft was primarily used as a pinch-runner and defensive substitute before getting his first-career start against Austin Peay on April 28 ... Took advantage of the opportunity and responded with a 3-for-4 effort, ripping a double and scoring the game-winning run in extra innings ... Went on to start 7 of WKU’s final 10 games ... Finished his 8 starts with 11 hits, 7 runs and 4 doubles with a .355 batting average ... Capped his rookie season with a .316 average in 18 games played overall.
At Battlefield HS: Was an All-Conference selection at shortstop during his junior and senior seasons, leading his team to back-to-back district championships ... Hit .420 and stole 21 bases as a senior, while anchoring the defense at shortstop, committing only 1 error on 56 chances ... Was an All-District and All-Region honoree as a junior, hitting .408 with 27 runs scored.
