2017 (Senior): After hitting his 1st career homerun vs. Murray State on April 4, Rogers earned 17 starts down the stretch for WKU, primarily at first base ... The dinger against the Racers was a pinch-hit, solo shot in the bottom in the 8th that tied the game at 9-9; WKU would win 10-9 on a walk-off sacrifice fly by Tyler Robertson in the bottom of the 9th ... Hit 2 triples at FIU on May 18, the 1st such game by a Hilltopper since Anderson Miller on March 18, 2014 at Kentucky ... Ended the season on a career-best 7-game hit streak, slashing .385/.414/.538 in that span ... Joined Grayson Ivey as 1-of-2 players on the club with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 118 total chances.
2016 (Junior): Rogers appeared in 19 games for WKU primarily in the outfield and at first base ... He went 3-for-19 at the plate with 1 two-bagger and 2 runs batted in ... His extra-base hit came in Lexington against the Wildcats, knocking in Zach Janes with an opposite-field double.
At Lower Columbia College: Rogers played in 50 games in 2015 and hit for a .251 average to help Lower Columbia to a Northwest Athletic title ... He tallied 44 hits, including 7 doubles, 34 runs and 26 runs batted in ... In his freshman season, Rogers produced at a .283 hitting clip for the year in 24 games ... He also showed great priority in his studies as he was named to the 2015 NWAC Baseball All-Academic team.
