2018 (Freshman): Started 39 games in right field as a true freshman, including 34 straight to cap the season ... His .369 batting average ranked fifth in Conference USA, 48th in the country and third nationally among freshman ... His .415 batting average in 29 league games led C-USA and was the second-best mark dating back to 2011, while his 49 hits (in 118 at-bats) in C-USA play ranked second among league players ... Ranked third on WKU with 18 multi-hit games, all of them coming within the final 30 contests of the season ... In those 30 games, Brown went 54-for-127 and slashed .425/.447/.472 ... Had a career-high 4 hits on 4 occasions (at UAB on April 20, at Charlotte on May 4 and May 6 and at Florida Atlantic on May 18) ... At Bowling Green HS: Lettered 3 years in baseball, 3 years in football and 1 year in golf for the Purples ... Earned First Team All-State in baseball as a senior and was a 3-time state champion in football ... Led the team with a .381 batting average and .515 on-base percentage, while adding 5 homeruns and 31 runs scored.
