2016 (Sophomore): Bothered by a shoulder injury for most of the year, Duckworth did not allow that to hinder his success in his sophomore season, making the move to the designated hitter spot for WKU ... Duckworth finished the year with a .329 batting average and a team-high 36 runs batted in, while also ranking highly in multiple C-USA offensive categories at the end of the regular season: second in HBP (12), T-11th in hits (68) and T-12th in RBI ... He racked up 18 multiple-hit games, including nine three-hit performances, and nine multi-RBI contests ... He registered a hit in 42 games and reached base safely in all but seven games on the year ... Duckworth saved his best performances for games at Nick Denes Field, batting .423 with a .625 slug and .496 on-base percentage on 44 hits, 23 RBI, 20 runs and 11 doubles at home in 2016 ... In the classroom, Duckworth owns a 3.94 GPA as an accounting major as he became WKU's ninth Academic All-American honoree ... He also landed on the C-USA Baseball All-Academic and CoSIDA Academic All-District 2 Teams for his work in the classroom.
2015 (Freshman): Duckworth was WKU's Opening Day starter in left field and was in contention for Conference USA Freshman of the Year honors before a shoulder injury held him out of the final month of the season ... The rookie standout batted .295 with five homers, four doubles and a slugging percentage of .512 in 30 games (25 starts) and only committed one error defensively in the corner outfield positions ... Despite missing the final month of the season, Duckworth led WKU with six stolen bases in seven attempts ... His first career hit was a home run against Evansville in just his second-career game ... He smacked homers in two of WKU's five games against SEC opponents, one of which was a three-run bomb in a win over Kentucky and the other coming in go-ahead fashion in the ninth inning at No. 13 Mississippi State ... His best performance as a rookie came in a win over Kentucky where he went 3-for-4 with four RBI and a homer.
At Henderson County HS: Duckworth was named Kentucky Mr. Baseball and the 2014 Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year following an outstanding senior season at Henderson County ... Duckworth finished his senior season with a .447 batting average, 40 runs scored, 38 stolen bases and 35 RBI ... He was a First Team All-State selection in 2013 and 2014 and earned All-Region honors during his final three seasons with the Colonels ... Duckworth signed with WKU after a great junior season at Henderson County in which he led the state in home runs (11) and stolen bases (36) ... He hit .456, drove in 32 RBI and had an on-base percentage of .588 from his leadoff position with the Colonels in 2013 ... Duckworth led Henderson County to back-to-back state semifinal appearances in 2012-13, was named to the All-Kentucky Team by USA Today in 2013 and was rated as a Top 10 player in the state of Kentucky by Prep Baseball Report.
