Threw 3 innings with 3 strikeouts vs. Illinois State on March 12, while not allowing any runs to the Redbirds ... Pitched 2 scoreless frames vs. Kentucky on March 21 at Bowling Green Ballpark, striking out a pair while allowing only 3 baserunners ... Had career highs of 3.2 innings and 5 strikeouts out of the bullpen at Eastern Kentucky on March 8.
At Cabrillo College: Originally signed with the University of San Francisco and redshirted 1 year before heading to Aptos to play for the Seahawks ... During his 2 seasons at Cabrillo, he made 37 appearances (including 22 starts) and went 11-8 with a 3.39 ERA in 152 innings pitched ... He earned Coast Pacific First Team honors in both 2015 and 2016, as well as Academic All-State in 2016.
At Colfax HS: As a senior, went 9-2 with a 2.26 ERA and 83 strikeouts on the mound, while hitting .488 with 2 homeruns and 37 runs batted in at the plate ... Was Pioneer Valley League MVP and made Sacremento Bee All-Metro Team in 2013 ... Valedictorian of Colfax High School in 2013.
