2022 (Graduate): Earned All-C-USA First Team honors...Named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Third Team...Finished her career with 72 starts, the fifth most in program history...The team captain scored the game-winning goal on Senior Night against Charlotte in the 86th minute...Played the most minutes of any player on the team with 1,607...Stayed on the field for all 90 minutes for 16 of WKU's 19 games...Led the WKU defense that notched a 0.895 goals against average on the season which led C-USA...The defense held teams to just 12 goals in the regular season and shut out eight teams.Â
2021 (Senior): Named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Third Team…Earned Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 7…Part of the WKU defensive spine that held opponents to 13 goals on the season, tied for the second fewest in program history…The defense’s 0.834 goals against average ended the season as the 46th best mark in the country…Played the second most minutes of any WKU player (1,449) and played every minute of all but one match…Got the starting nod in all 16 matches for the Lady Toppers…Scored her first collegiate goal against Middle Tennessee…Had a season high three shots in WKU’s season opener against Austin Peay…Got off eight shots on the season, including three on goal...Named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2021-22 academic year.
2020-21 (Junior): Earned All-Conference USA Second Team honors…Named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Third Team…Started in 11 matches…Assisted on one of the biggest goals of the season, setting up Katie Erwin’s game-winner against Charlotte to help WKU clinch the C-USA East Division title…Schmidt was a major part of the WKU backline that held opponents to only 13 goals on the season, the second fewest by a WKU team in school history…The WKU defense also shut out five opponents and held teams to only 9.1 shots per game and 3.7 shots on goal per game…The Lady Toppers gave up only nine goals in the 11 matches Schmidt played…Put a shot on goal against FIU and Marshall…Named to the 2020-21 C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2019 (Sophomore): Started in all 18 matches…Played a major part in WKU's defense holding opponents to only 19 goals, the ninth fewest in program history...Notched an assist on Ashley Leonard’s goal against Alabama A&M…Got off 12 shots and put six on goal…Recorded two shots in matches against UAB and Southern Miss…Named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll...Named to the Dean's List for the fall and spring semesters.Â
2018 (Freshman): Appeared in 15 matches with nine starts in 2018… Played a total of 812 minutes, including a season-best 84 minutes at Miami (Ohio) (Aug. 26)… Put a shot on goal against Kentucky Christian (Sept. 3), Southern Miss (Sept. 16) and Rice (Oct. 14).
