BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Women's Tennis will kick off its fall schedule this weekend with the APSU Fall Tournament at the Governors Tennis Courts in Clarksville, Tennessee. The event is scheduled to begin Friday, with the Lady Toppers taking on the host Governors at 12 p.m. CT.
In addition to WKU and Austin Peay, Alabama A&M, Chattanooga and Murray State will also be at the event, which will continue throughout the weekend.
ABOUT THE LADY TOPPERS
- The Lady Toppers finished the 2026 season with an 11-14 record, marking the fifth straight season the program has reached double-digit wins. It marks the second time in program history that WKU Women's Tennis has accomplished the feat, having previously done so from 2009-13.
- The Lady Toppers have won 73 matches over the last five seasons, which is the highest win total over a five-year period in program history.
- WKU won nine home matches during the 2026 season. The nine home wins ranked fourth in a single season in program history.
- The Lady Toppers return six players from the 2025-26 team – Isabelle Einess, Ariadna Fernandez, Virginia Madueño, Barbara Olvera, Emily Schut and Andra Sirbu.
- WKU signed Madison Hill and Emily Meng during the offseason. Hill is a transfer from Saint Louis, while Meng is a transfer from Quinnipiac.
- Head Coach Greg Davis finished the 2026 season with 348 career wins as a head coach. He enters his ninth season at WKU with 89 wins, which ranks second in program history.

- Chattanooga: Chattanooga went 17-5 during the spring with a 5-2 record in Southern Conference Play.
- Murray State: The Racers posted a 10-11 record during the most recent spring season, including a 5-2 mark in Missouri Valley Conference Tournament play.
