- The Hilltoppers' 5-0-3 record marks the first time since 2008 that WKU has gone unbeaten through its first eight games.
- Most recently, WKU faced Lipscomb on Sunday, earning a 1-1 draw. The Hilltoppers got on the board first when Danielle Lewin made a hard drive downfield and lifted the ball into the air for Maggie Bellair, who headed it past the Lipscomb goalkeeper in the 14th minute of play. Despite a strong defensive effort from the Hilltoppers, the Bison found the back of the net off a header from a corner kick in the 82nd minute. WKU continued to apply pressure offensively in the final minutes but could not find the go-ahead goal.
- Between the posts, goalkeeper Mia Riddick has been a key part of the Hilltoppers' success, recording 26 saves while allowing just two goals this season. Riddick currently leads CUSA in goals-against average (0.29), saves, and shutouts per game (0.714), while ranking eighth nationally in GAA and fourth in save percentage (0.929). Riddick has also earned CUSA Goalkeeper of the Week honors twice this season.
