BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU women's golf has added Lauren Madson to the 2026-27 roster. Madson is a junior transfer from UNC Asheville.
Madson played the 2025-26 season with the Bulldogs after transferring from Kansas where she played her freshman season.
As a sophomore at UNC Asheville, Madson played in 12 events. She had four top 10 finishes throughout the season, including a fourth-place finish in the Low Country Intercollegiate hosted by Wofford and a fifth-place finish at the Tiger Classic hosted by Clemson.
At Kansas, she competed in two events. Madson competed at Mansfield High School, lettering in golf and tennis. She was a district champion in 2021 and 2024 and holds the lowest female scoring average in the school's history (74.1). She was named the 2024 North Texas Female High School Golfer of the Year.
