BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Five members of the 2025-26 WKU women's golf team were named Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars, the organization announced in July. Senior Averi Cline, freshman Leah Edwards, junior Grace Frei, senior Sydney Hackett and freshman Reagan Ramage each earned the honor.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and have played in 50 percent of the scheduled competitive rounds during the year for their team. A total of 1,610 women's collegiate golfers were recognized with the prestigious honor.
Cline recently graduated with a degree in psychology with a 3.96 cumulative GPA. In 2025-26, Cline played in nine tournaments with the Lady Toppers. Her best finish came in the CUSA Championship where she finished in a tie for 16th place. In her career, she played in 41 tournaments with WKU with 16 top 25 finishes. In her time on The Hill, she was named to the All-CUSA Second Team in 2024-25, earned CUSA All-Academic second team honors twice, earned the CUSA Spirit of Service award all four years and received the Female Community Outreach Award at the annual TOPSYs Awards all four years.
Edwards is a finance major with a 3.90 GPA. She played in all 11 tournaments for the Lady Toppers in 2025-26. Her best finish came in the CUSA Championship where she earned fifth place. The freshman had two top 10 finishes, three top 20 finishes and four top 25 finishes on the season. Edwards earned All-CUSA Third Team honors for her play.
Frei is a construction management major with a 3.69 cumulative GPA. She played in eight tournaments with the Lady Toppers in 2025-26. Her best finish came in the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate where she finished in a tie for 44th place with a 10-over score.
Hackett graduated in the spring with a degree in finance with a 3.90 cumulative GPA. She was named to the All-CUSA First Team, the CUSA All-Academic Second Team and CSC Academic All-District Team in 2025-26. She was WKU's leader in nine tournaments throughout the season, including a first-place finish at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate at Tennessee in the fall. She finished her career with the third most wins in WKU history and has the second-best career stroke average in program history (73.68). Her 72.61 stroke average for the 2025-26 season is the third best in program history. Hackett owns two of the top four lowest season stroke averages in the WKU record book.
Ramage is a communication major with a 3.69 GPA. Ramage claimed the individual title at the CUSA Championship in the spring, shooting 3-under for the tournament. Her 65 in the third round is tied for the lowest score by a Lady Topper in a conference tournament in program history. She was named the CUSA Freshman of the Year and earned All-CUSA Second Team honors.
