BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The WKU women's golf team is headed to the NCAA Simpsonville Regional at the University of Louisville Golf Club. The regional begins May 11 and runs through May 13. The Lady Toppers won their second straight Conference USA title last week and will be the No. 11 seed in Simpsonville.
The three-day, 54-hole regional features 12 teams (in order of seed): Arkansas, Auburn, Iowa State, Ole Miss, Houston, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Indiana, College of Charleston, Xavier, WKU and Murray State. Six individuals will also compete. The top five teams, and top individual on a non-advancing team, from each of the six regionals will advance to the NCAA Golf Championships in Carlsbad, California, May 22-27.
WKU will be making its second consecutive appearance at an NCAA Regional after playing in the Lexington Regional last season.
The Lady Toppers won the CUSA Championship by seven strokes and became the first CUSA team to repeat since North Texas in 2022 and 2023. Freshman Reagan Ramage claimed the individual title with an impressive 65 (-7) in the final round. She is the first freshman to win the CUSA title since 2013 and is the third champion from WKU in the last four years (Sydney Hackett, 2025 and Catie Craig, 2023).
