QUOTABLES
- "I thought we played really well. We had a good performance today against, honestly, one of the toughest teams we've played this year. Ball State's got a real good shot of winning the MAC, and that's a very difficult conference. I thought we competed well. We had four matches that went three sets and in doubles we were ahead in all three doubles matches at some point today. Good performance. I think it really prepares us well for next week's first conference match against Sam Houston here a week from today." – WKU Women's Tennis Head Coach Greg Davis, on the match against Ball State.
- "I guess the key for me was still believing in myself, even in the tough moments of the match. It was 4-all, deuce and I got the point. I wasn't there shaking and being nervous, so I think the biggest thing of why I was able to pull it out today was just the confidence and belief in myself." – WKU Women's Tennis senior Elizabeth Sobieski, on her singles match against Ball State.
NEXT UP
- The Lady Toppers will wrap up their six-match homestand against Sam Houston on Thursday, March 12, at 1 p.m. CT.
