- The Lady Toppers are ahead of Penn State, James Madison, Old Dominion, Kennesaw State, Alabama, No. 42 Indiana, South Alabama, Jax State, Western Carolina, Toledo and Queens-Charlotte. WKU trails Georgia (+1), Rutgers (+13), FGCU (+17) and High Point (+20).
- Sydney Hackett continues to lead WKU on the leaderboard with an overall 1-over score (145). Hackett carded an even 72 in the second round on Sunday.
- Julia Zigrossi topped her first-round score, shooting a 73 (+1) on Sunday to bring her total to 147 (+3) for the tournament. She will enter the final day tied for 14th.
- Grace Frei posted a 75 (+3) in the second round, bringing her overall score to 152 (+8), tying her for 32nd place.
- Reagan Ramage and Lead Edwards (playing as an individual) are tied for 43rd place with overall scores of 153 (+9). Reagan carded a 77 (+5) in the second round and Edwards shot a 76 (+4).
- Averi Cline posted a 78 (+6) in the second round, bringing her overall score to 156 (+12), tying for 61st place.
QUOTABLE
"The team improved our team score today by a few shots," said head coach Adam Gary. "It was a good experience getting to play with the University of Alabama. We had a few bad holes that cost us, but I feel like the team is close to playing really well."
