HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bearkats recorded the first hit Friday evening with a single up the middle in the bottom of the fourth.
- Sam Houston had runners on first and second with one out in the fifth but a groundball to shortstop Manny Alberto was flipped to Austin Haller who fired it over to Lane Arroyos at first for a 6-4-3 double play to end the threat in the fifth.
- The leadoff man for WKU Friday, Hayden Robbins, broke the no-hitter with one out in the sixth inning.
- The Bearkats grabbed the lead off a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the seventh, ultimately winning, 1-0.
