BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball guard Teagan Moore has been named to the NABC All-District Second Team, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced Tuesday morning.
The honor recognizes Moore as one of the top performers in the Central District during the 2025-26 season.
Moore turned in one of the most productive and efficient campaigns in recent Hilltopper history, earning a spot on the All-Conference USA First Team. The redshirt sophomore averaged 18.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while shooting 52.9% from the field, 42.9% from 3-point range and 80.0% at the free throw line. He ranked second in CUSA in scoring and third in field goal percentage, scoring in double figures in 23 of 27 games, including 22 outings with at least 15 points and 13 performances of 20 or more.
The Dry Ridge, Kentucky, native's scoring average was the highest by a WKU player since Courtney Lee in 2007-08 (20.4 ppg).
After returning from a five-game midseason absence due to injury, Moore helped spark a five-game win streak with victories over Middle Tennessee, Delaware, Liberty, New Mexico State and UTEP. During that stretch, he averaged 24.6 points and 5.0 rebounds, shooting 63.8% from the field, 64.3% from 3-point range and 80.0% at the line.
His surge earned him back-to-back CUSA Player of the Week honors after a dominant four-game run that included road wins at Delaware and Liberty and home victories over New Mexico State and UTEP. Moore averaged 24.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in the two road contests, hitting 60.0% from the field and 66.7% from deep, before following with 23.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in the home sweep while connecting on nearly 70% of his shots.
Moore capped his standout season with another strong performance, leading WKU with 27 points, seven rebounds and two assists in the Hilltoppers' CUSA Quarterfinal loss to eventual champion Kennesaw State. He shot 7-of-14 from the field, 2-of-4 from 3-point range and 11-of-14 from the free throw line.
