BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Athletics announced the additions of Cole Dinning and Nick Walters on Thursday. Dinning will serve as the Coordinator of Business Operations and Walters has been hired as an Account Executive in the WKU Ticket Office.
Dinning, who previously worked as a Financial Aid Counselor at WKU from 2024-26, will be responsible for managing the financial and operational health of the Football, Men's Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Athletic Training and Strength and Conditioning programs, as well as assisting with team travel. In his previous role at WKU, Dinning provided students with financial opportunities to continue their education. He specialized in navigating families through federal, state and institutional aid, and served as a primary point of contact for financial counseling, where he utilized data-driven analysis to maximize student funding and support university retention efforts.
Dinning is a Bowling Green native and graduated from WKU in May 2024 with a degree in Accounting.
Walters will work with the WKU Ticket Office, assisting with revenue generation for each of WKU's ticketed sports. He previously worked as an Account Executive for the Tucson Roadrunners during the 2024-25 season, a Ticket Sales Intern for Knoxville SC from 2022-24 and as an Allen Americans Intern for the 2019-20 season. In his previous positions, he was responsible for researching leads, making outbound calls and generating revenue.
Walters is a native of Frisco, Texas, and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Sports Management in 2024.
