Cole Dinning joined the WKU staff in February 2026 as a Coordinator of Business Operations.
Dinning, who previously worked as a Financial Aid Counselor at WKU from 2024-26, is responsible for managing the financial and operational health of the Football, Men’s Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Athletic Training and Strength and Conditioning programs, as well as assisting with team travel.
In his previous role at WKU, Dinning provided students with financial opportunities to continue their education. He specialized in navigating families through federal, state and institutional aid, and served as a primary point of contact for financial counseling, where he utilized data-driven analysis to maximize student funding and support university retention efforts.
Dinning, a native of Bowling Green, graduated from WKU in May 2024 with a degree in Accounting.
