QUOTABLES
- "What a great win over Jacksonville State in our first conference match of the year. They're a very good team, Jacksonville State is, and we knew this was going to be a very difficult match. Really proud of the way we played in doubles, and then we came out and played very well and won a lot of first sets. I think that's the key always. When you win that doubles point, if you can come out, and especially when you're at home – I think we won four first sets – once we did, that put ourselves in a position to win the match because that put a lot of pressure on Jacksonville State. Again, they're a great team. This is our best match of the year by far." – WKU Women's Tennis Head Coach Greg Davis, on the 4-1 win over Jax State.
- "It was good winning today and getting two good wins. Coming into this match, we talked about starting off March with some momentum – our goal each month is to have a winning record – so to get off to a 2-0 start, get a good conference win over a really good Jax State team in the first match and then follow it up. We were fatigued in the second match, but we fought through and gave a good effort, I thought. It was good that we got to give everybody a chance to play. That's going to really help us as we go through the rest of the season." – WKU Women's Tennis Head Coach Greg Davis, on winning both matches in the doubleheader on Sunday.
- "I think we came in with a lot of energy for our first conference match against Jacksonville (State). We were all cheering ourselves up and just playing hard and our attitude made a difference." – WKU Women's Tennis Senior Sofia Blanco, on the wins over Jax State and Southern Indiana.
- "We definitely had a lot of tenacity. It's tough coming in after close ones, but just to come in swinging hard, playing hard, it is why the matches went our way today." – WKU Women's Tennis junior Elizabeth Sobieski, on the wins over Jax State and Southern Indiana.
