ABOUT THE TOPS
- WKU sits in third place in the Conference USA standings with an 10-4 record in league play. So far this season, WKU has sweeps over Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Louisiana Tech, and Sam Houston and a series split with Middle Tennessee.
- Four different Lady Toppers are averaging double digit points this season. Alexis Mead is leading the team with a 13.4 points per game average, Destiny Salary is putting up 12.0 points per game, Acacia Hayes is scoring 11.9 points per game and Josie Gilvin is averaging 11.8 points per game.
- Josie Gilvin is leading the team on the boards, pulling down 5.7 rebounds per game. Zsofia Telegdy is right behind her, averaging 5.1 boards per game.

Mead is currently fourth all-time at WKU in career steals with 233, seventh in career assists with 442, eighth in career starts with 119, 10th in made 3-pointers with 152, and 26th in all-time scoring with 1,296 career points. She is just the third Lady Topper to record over 1,260 career points, 400 career assists and 200 career steals, joining Kendall Noble and Clemette Haskins on the elite list.
- WKU has held 19 of 26 opponents under 70 points this season, notching a record of 17-2 when doing so. The Lady Toppers are 98-26 under head coach Greg Collins when keeping teams below 70. WKU has held nine teams below 60 this season, going 9-0 in those games. The Lady Toppers are 49-9 under Collins when holding teams below 60.
SERIES INFORMATION
- Thursday's game will be the 13th meeting all-time between WKU and UTEP. The Lady Toppers own an 8-4 record against the Miners, including a 3-1 mark at home.
- Earlier this season, WKU defeated UTEP in El Paso, 65-59. WKU held a lead for most of that game, but a UTEP comeback in the fourth quarter gave the Miners a lead with 2:55 left in the game. WKU ended the game on an 8-0 run to seal the win.
