NASHVILLE, Tenn. – WKU Women's Tennis defeated Belmont 5-2 on Friday at the Ensworth Tennis Center to improve to 5-3 this season.
The team's win was highlighted by Sofia Blanco's 6-1, 6-0 singles victory over Belmont's Viktoria Kliimand, which moved Blanco into sole possession of second place on the program's career singles wins list. Blanco, who now has 45 career singles wins, was already second on WKU's career doubles wins list.

- Zegada's doubles win was the 35th of her WKU career, which is fourth in program history. She is now two doubles wins away from being tied for third all-time in program history.
- WKU dropped the doubles point for the third time in eight matches this season.
- Head Coach Greg Davis is 327-185 all-time as a college head coach, which includes 68 wins with the Lady Toppers. Davis ranks fourth in wins by a WKU Women's Tennis Head Coach.
