BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Lee Wood has announced Hilltopper Track & Field's 2025-26 indoor competition schedule.
On the schedule Wood said "Excited to release the indoor schedule for track and field. The athletes have been working extremely hard in the off season and will be ready!"
"This schedule will allow us to really go up against some good national level competition that I'm really excited about." Wood added.
The season gets underway Dec. 6 in Nashville at the Winter Commodore Challenge, hosted by Vanderbilt University.
WKU will take a break over the holidays and compete again when the calendar flips to 2026. The team will head to Louisville for the Rod McCravy Memorial Invitational for the second straight year. That meet will run Friday and Saturday, Jan. 9-10 at the Norton Sports and Learning Center and will be hosted by Kentucky.
The Tops will head back to Music City and Vanderbilt for a two day competition in the Vanderbilt Invitational, slated to run Friday and Saturday, Jan 16-17. The next weekend will mark the third straight week of competition for WKU at the Crossroads of America Invitational Jan. 23-24 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Ind.
WKU will close out January with one final meet in Louisville at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational Jan. 30-31, hosted by the University of Louisville.
The Hilltoppers will head to Fayetteville, Ark. midway through February for the Tyson Invitational, set for Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14 and hosted by the University of Arkansas.
The 2025 Conference USA Championships are set for Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28 and will be held in Lynchburg, Va. for the third consecutive season. NCAA Indoor Championships will be held March 13-14 at the Randall Tyson Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
