The Lady Toppers climbed up seven spots from round one after finishing the first day in 10th place. WKU finished round two in seventh place. The team's round three score of 279 (-5) is tied for the second-best team round score in program history.
Hackett's win was the third of her career, which now stands alone as the third most in program history by an individual player.
NOTABLES
- Hackett finished the tournament with a 65, a career low round score for the senior. That score is tied for the third lowest in program history. Her 202 (-11) score for the tournament is also a career low and is the second lowest 54-hole score in WKU history. Hackett also finished the tournament with the most birdies (15) and the best Par 4 stroke average (3.68).
- Freshman Reagan Ramage had the best tournament of her young career, finished the final round with a 69 to help her claim a tie for third place. Her 209 (-4) score for the tournament was a new career best by 15 strokes. Ramage made par on 40 holes in the tournament which was tied for the third most of any player.
- Freshman Leah Edwards had her best round of the tournament, carding a 70 (-1) to bring her tournament total score to 216 (+3) for a tie for 22nd place. It is the second top 25 finish of her young career.
- Senior Averi Cline posted a 78 (+7) for the final round, totaling her tournament score at 232 (+19) for a 70th place finish.
- Junior Grace Frei carded a 75 (+4) for the day, her best round score of the tournament. She finished in a tie for 74th place with an overall score of 235 (+22).

"I'm super proud of the team's confidence today," said head coach Adam Gary. "It was a great end to the fall season. We have lots of positives to take away going into the offseason. Sydney played amazing. She makes it look easy and she's fun to coach. The freshman played well for the fall. I'm impressed with how they contributed right away."
