Two Hilltoppers have one hole remaining in the second, one has two holes left, one has three holes left and one has completed the second round.
NOTABLES
- Freshman Ethan Smith shot a 71 (even) in the first round and completed the second round with a 1-under par (70) score. He is currently in 16th place.
- Freshman Will Easterlin posted a 72 (+1) for the first round and is 1-over in the second round with three holes left to play. He is currently in 45th place.
- Junior Gage Doyle carded a 73 (+2) for the first round and is currently 3-over par in the second round with two holes left to play. He is tied for 60th place.
- Junior Rafe Blankenship also posted a 73 (+2) in the first round. He's 1-over in the second round with one hole left to play. He's currently in 54th place.
- Sophomore Trevor Drew shot a 75 (+4) in the first round and is 1-over in the second with one hole left. He's currently tied for 60th place.
"There was a lot of really good things to take from today," said head coach Austin King. "This is a strong field, the course setup was tough, and the guys managed their games as well as I've ever seen. There were some moments where we could've executed a little better but even when we didn't, the guys handled it well. Looking to finish strong tomorrow so this can be a week that's a big step forward for our guys."
