ABOUT THE TOPS
- While UTEP snapped WKU's regular season conference match win streak, the 100-match win streak ranks the Hilltoppers third in all of DI Volleyball for the longest win streak of that kind.
- Both Alivia Skidmore and Faith Young finished with 20 or more kills across the two matches. Skidmore collected 21 kills with a .487 hitting percentage while Young recorded 20 kills and a .472 hitting clip.
- WKU stormed back on Saturday and began the match with five service aces in the first set alone. Their nine total service aces on the night tied for the most in a single match this season.
- The Hilltoppers are all over the Top 10 in CUSA. Faith Young is ranked second in hitting percentage with a .383 and Izzy Van De Wiele is sixth at .337. Alivia Skidmore sits fourth in kills per set with 3,51 and Callie Bauer is ranked second in assists per set with 9.74. Van De Wiele is also ranked third in blocks per set at a rate of 1.20. Young, who leads the Hilltoppers with 28 service aces, is also ranked 10th in service aces per set with .35. Last but not least, Tayler Baron is ranked fifth in digs per set at a rate of 3.71.
- On the national stage, WKU is ranked in kills per set (4th, 14.47), assists per set (6th, 13.47), hitting percentage (3rd, .308), and Faith Young is ranked 43rd in hitting percentage (.383).
- Three of WKU's starting hitters are hitting over .300. Faith Young leads with a .383, Izzy Van De Wiele currently has a .337, and Alivia Skidmore has a .303.
