- Freshman Will Easterlin led WKU on the leader on day one. Easterlin carded a 72 (+1) in the first round and a 70 (-1) in the second for an overall score of 142 (E). He goes into the final round in a tie for 11th place. So far in the tournament, he's averaging 2.75 strokes on Par 3s which is tied for the best rate in the tournament.
- Junior Gage Doyle and redshirt freshman Ethan Smith are both tied for 24th place after going 2-over (144) for the first two rounds. Doyle shot a 75 (+4) in the first and a 69 (-2) in the second while Smith carded a 76 (+5) in the first and a career best 68 (-3) in the second. Doyle had nine birdies in the first two rounds which is tied for the fourth most in the tournament.
- Junior Rafe Blankenship fired a 68 (-3) in the first round and then carded a 79 (+8) in the second for a total score of 147 (+5) for a tie for 42nd place.
- Sophomore Trevor Drew posted a 76 (+5) in the first round and a 74 (+3) in the second for a 150 (+8) total to tie for 66th place.

"I was really happy to see the guys bounce back this afternoon after a shaky first round," said head coach Austin King. "I felt like we were still hitting enough good shots to play well, and they made the adjustments they needed to and competed hard. Excited for a chance to contend tomorrow and finish off our fall strong!"
