BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Conference USA has released its 2024-25 men's basketball schedule, as announced by the league on Thursday. Head coach Hank Plona enters his first season at the helm for WKU as the Hilltoppers prepare for a conference slate that includes a total of 18 CUSA games with nine matchups at home in Diddle Arena.
Hilltopper Basketball's conference campaign tips on the road facing Liberty on January 2 and will conclude on March 8 hosting the Flames in Diddle. The 2024-25 season will mark WKU's 11th season competing in CUSA.
WKU will open league play with five of its first seven games on the road. The Hilltoppers will travel to FIU on Jan. 4, then return home for a pair of games hosting Jax State (Jan. 9) and CUSA newcomer Kennesaw State (Jan. 11).
WKU opens a three-game road stretch the following week beginning with a matchup facing rival Middle Tennessee (Jan. 18) followed by LA Tech (Jan. 23) and Sam Houston (Jan. 25). The Hilltoppers return home to host UTEP (Jan. 30) and New Mexico State (Feb. 1) before traveling for rematches with Kennesaw State (Feb. 6) and Jax State (Feb. 8).
WKU wraps the 2024-25 regular season with five of its final seven games at home in Diddle Arena. The Tops will host rival Middle Tennessee for a rematch on Feb. 15 followed by second matchups with Sam Houston (Feb. 20) and LA Tech (Feb. 22). The Tops travel west to face UTEP (Feb. 27) and New Mexico State (March 1) on the road before returning home and closing the regular season with outings hosting FIU (March 6) and to Liberty (March 8).
