Three Hilltopper pitchers saw action in the circle, totaling four strikeouts. TJ Webster and Cheyanne Sales picked up the lone pair of hits for the Red and White.
NM STATE 9, WKU 0 [5inn.]
New Mexico State opened up scoring on the board with an RBI fielder's choice and two-run single through the left side for a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning.
The Aggies capped off scoring in the third frame with a run scored from a Hilltopper error, RBI single, then a grand slam to total nine runs on the board.
Rylan Smith got the start and pitched 2.2 innings and dealt three strikeouts before Kelsie Houchens came in for relief in the third inning. She gave up a walk and two runs off of one hit. Maddy Wood closed out in the final bottom of the fourth inning, retiring a batter at the plate.

- Cheyanne Sales and Morgan Sharpe each picked up a hit in the ballgame, as Sharpe continues a five-game hitting streak.
