JACKSONVILLE, Fl. – Through two rounds at the UNF Collegiate, the WKU women's golf team is currently in eighth place on the leaderboard. The Lady Tops currently boast two players within the top-15.
Although a portion of the second round was suspended due to darkness, WKU had a strong two rounds in Florida. Catie Craig led the way for the Lady Tops, tying for seventh heading into the final round. The junior put in five birdies and the tournaments only eagle on her way to a 1-under 71 first round, followed by a 2-under 50 second round which is where play stopped for the day.
Averi Cline put in a very strong performance for WKU as well. Cline is right outside of the top-10 on the board as she's tied for 11th. Cline was very consistent between the two rounds, only shooting 1-over twice through her 33 holes played.

Tying for 55th for WKU is Addie Westbrook. The senior put in two birdies on her way to a 3-over 74 first round. Westbrook is looking to capture momentum tomorrow as the second and third rounds continue. This comes after she skyrocketed nine spots in the Lady Tops' last tournament for a fourth place finish.
Sydney Hackett tied 63rd heading into tomorrow. Hackett had an impressive first round which included back-to-back birdies on holes 17 and 18 on her way to a 2-over 74 round.
