BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU women's basketball head coach Greg Collins has announced camp information for the summer of 2024. Lil' Topper Camp will be June 10-12, Middle School Elite will be June 11, High School Elite will be June 9 and High School Team Camp will be June 20-22. Camps are open to any and all entrants.
Registration for all camps is now open and can be completed online (https://info.abcsportscamps.com/greg-collins-basketball-camps).
Lil' Topper Camp is for girls entering kindergarten through fifth grade and is designed to introduce the game of basketball to young players. Campers will learn the basic skills of what it takes to become a successful basketball player. Techniques taught include ball handling and shooting, and the camp also stresses the importance of teamwork. T-shirts will be provided for each camper. Lil' Topper Camp is $115 to attend.
Middle School Elite is for girls entering sixth through eighth grade. The camp is designed to provide campers the opportunity to receive instruction on the game of basketball in a positive and energetic environment. Campers will improve the basic skills of what it takes to become a successful basketball player. Techniques taught include ball handling, passing and shooting through drill work and competitive play. The camp also stresses the importance of teamwork. The cost for the Middle School Elite camp is $70.
There is a 15 percent discount offered to groups of five or more for the Lil' Topper and Middle School camps, but that discount can only be applied over the phone.
High School Elite camp is offered to girls entering eighth through 12th grade. The camp is for players looking to improve their game at a high level. It is a highly competitive camp where campers will have the opportunity to display their abilities through skill instruction, team play and competitions.
Team Camp is an overnight camp offered to high school teams. The cost is $200 per camper and includes housing, meals and a tshirt. A commuter rate is offered. To register contact Ivy Woodcock (ivy.brown@wku.edu).
