The Game at a Glance
Hilltopper Basketball (15-7, 4-4) travels to Ruston, La. on Wednesday for a matchup with CUSA leader Louisiana Tech slated for 6 p.m. CT. The Tops enter the game having secured an 88-65 win over rival Middle Tennessee last Saturday night to earn the team's fourth conference victory for the 2023-24 season.
Wednesday will mark the 43rd all-time meeting between WKU and LA Tech. The game against the Bulldogs will see the CUSA's top-two scoring offenses go head-to-head, as WKU prepares to battle a first-place standing Bulldogs team that has secured six straight wins. The outing will also feature two of the conference's top scorers in Don McHenry and Daniel Batcho. McHenry is currently the third-leading scorer in CUSA, while LA Tech's Batcho currently charts fifth in scoring with 15 PPG. The redshirt junior big from France also charts first in rebounding, currently averaging 10.5 boards per contest.
WKU and LA Tech enter the game with an even 21-21 all-time record in a series dating back to 1928.
