McHenry earns the recognition after averaging 22.0 points while shooting 16-for-31 from the field with a perfect 10-of-10 mark from the free-throw line last week. The native of Milwaukee finished with 20 points off 7-for-13 shooting and 6-of-6 from the stripe while notching six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a pair of steals in the Tops' 81-76 win over LA Tech on Thursday. McHenry followed the performance with 24 points off 9-for-18 shooting, another perfect 4-of-4 free-throw mark and one rebound in the team's 70-59 win over Jax State on Saturday.
The wins improve the Hilltoppers' record to 17-7 overall and 6-4 in CUSA league play. The pair of conference road victories mark the first time a CUSA team has completed a 2-0 road swing in league play this season. The weekly honor serves as the third CUSA Player of the Week nod for a Hilltopper in 2023-24.
