ABOUT THE TOPS
- WKU is off to a 3-0 start for the second straight season and the 14th time in program history. It's the first time WKU has had back-to-back 3-0 starts since the 1987-88 and 1988-89 seasons. The Lady Toppers will be aiming for a 4-0 start which would be the best start for the Tops since the 2005-06 season.
- Defense is a hallmark for Greg Collins' teams on The Hill. WKU has finished in the top 30 nationally in steals per game in four of the last five seasons and currently have the seventh best steals per game rate in the country (16.3). Last season the Lady Toppers held opponents to 63.5 points per game, the lowest average of any Collins coached team at WKU. So far this season WKU has not allowed more than 59 points in a game.
- After the first three games WKU has five players averaging double digit points. Acacia Hayes leads the team, averaging 14.7 points per game. Destiny Salary is the team's second leading scorer, putting up 13.3 points per game. Zsofia Telegdy is scoring 11.7 per game, Mackenzie Chatfield is averaging 11.0 and Alexis Mead is scoring 10.7.
- Against Indiana State, Hayes had 10 steals, tying the WKU record and tying Conference USA's record against a Division I opponent. Her 4.67 steals per game rate is fourth in the nation.
- Five Lady Toppers come to Bowling Green internationally, which is the highest number of international athletes WKU women's basketball has had on one team in program history.
- The Lady Toppers were picked to finish fourth in the Conference USA preseason coaches poll, behind Middle Tennessee, Liberty and FIU and above Louisiana Tech in fifth.

- Thursday's game will be the second all-time between WKU and Abilene Christian. The series began last season with a 72-68 WKU win in Bowling Green.
- Destiny Salary led all scorers in last season's game with 20 points. Acacia Hayes followed closely behind with 19 points.

- The Wildcats are led by Bella Earle and Payton Hull. Earle is averaging 15.6 points per game and Hull is putting up 15.0 points.
