DALLAS, Texas – WKU women's golf freshman Kaylee Dwyer earned her first career Conference USA Golfer of the Week honor on Wednesday.
Dwyer is coming off an 11th-place finish at the Evie Odom Invitational last weekend at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, Va. Her previous career best was a 21st-place finish at the Cardinal Cup.
Dwyer fired even-par 70s in each of her first two rounds, marking the two best rounds of her career. She played the Par 4s at 4-under for the week, second-best in the 78-player field, while her 38 pars were also the second-most in the field.
Dwyer and the Lady Tops are back on the course to wrap up their fall schedule, October 21-23, for The Ally, hosted by Mississippi State.
