VENICE, Fla. – WKU women's golf senior Catie Craig has qualified for LPGA Final Qualifying by virtue of her finish at LPGA Q-Series Qualifying this week at Plantation Golf and Country Club (Bobcat and Panther courses). Craig finished with a 4-under 284; the Top 35 and ties advanced to Final Qualifying.
Final qualifying will consist of 90 holes from Thursday, Dec. 5 through Monday, Dec. 9 on the Magnolia Grove Golf Course (Falls and Crossings courses) on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Mobile, Ala. Each player will play two rounds on each course, with a cut taking place after the fourth round. Depending on finish, players will earn varying levels of LPGA Tour or Epson Tour status for the 2025 season.
Craig, by virtue of her finish at this past week's Qualifying Stage, has already secured Epson Tour starts for next season, which could begin at the conclusion of her amateur and/or collegiate career.
Craig began her journey at Pre-Qualifying in August at Mission Hills Country Club (Tournament and Palmer courses) and Indian Wells Golf Course (Classic course) in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
