WEST POINT, Miss. – WKU women's golf concluded its fall with a strong eighth-place finish at The Ally, hosted by Mississippi State University at Old Waverly Golf Club. The event was won by Florida at 15-under, as the Gators were followed on the leaderboard by No. 5 Mississippi State, No. 11 Vanderbilt and No. 19 Auburn.

NOTABLES

The third-round scoring average for the 90-player field was 75.61 and finished at 75.46 for the tournament.
WKU played the Par 4s and Par 5s as the seventh-best team in the 16-team field this week.
Sydney Hackett finished with back-to-back even-par 72s to close the tournament. She was tied for seventh in Par 3-scoring at a 2.92 average for the event. Hackett's 41 pars were tied for the most in the field.
As a team, the Lady Tops had 15 birdies during the final round on Wednesday.

"I'm proud of the way the team finished the fall this week at a very tough event! We had several golfers step up throughout the week and compete at a high level, especially in a field that featured multiple SEC and Big Ten programs. It was a challenge, especially with Catie Craig playing in LPGA Qualifying this weekend, but the team battled and will be able to build off a very strong fall as we look ahead to the spring season in a few months." — head coach Adam Gary
